My Story

This sweet girl was discovered alone at a hunting lease, with no one to care for her. The hunters who found her were preparing to leave for Naples the following day and urgently sought help to ensure she wouldn't be left behind.

Fortunately, Cindy Lou Who found her way to the Humane Society of North Central Florida, where she is now receiving the medical care, nutrition, and rest she desperately needs. Safe at last, she can begin her journey toward healing.

While Cindy Lou Who is no longer fighting to survive on her own, she still has a long road ahead. Veterinary care, medications, diagnostics, nutritious food, and foster support all come with significant costs. Our team is committed to giving her every opportunity to recover and thrive, but we can't do it alone.
