My Story

Elaine came to us in poor body condition and tested heartworm positive. She is also severely underweight, and despite a nutritious diet and close monitoring, she has not gained the weight she needs to safely begin heartworm treatment. Because heartworm treatment is physically demanding, our veterinary team is carefully monitoring her weight and overall health to ensure she's strong enough before starting the next phase of her care.
